| Urgent Need in Haiti! |

As you probably have been following the story of
the recent earthquake in Haiti, you'll know that
we are witnessing one of the worst, if not the
most, devastating natural disasters of our age.
Some estimates have put the number of missing &
dead at over 100,000; that could turn out to be a
low estimate.
The greatest immediate need is for food and water, but the difficulty is that most delivery systems, or mechanisms for getting those resources to where they are most needed, have been damaged or destroyed altogether. Two organizations that have the networks and people on the ground able to help are World Vision and Samaritan's Purse. World Vision is a locally based, global non-profit organization. Samaritan's Purse is the group that we work with each Christmas to donate the gift-boxes for children around the world. Please join me and my family as we pray for the people of Haiti, and give over and above our regular support for Mosaic, in order to help provide life-saving supplies for people who are desperate for help.
